One Cup Of "Bulletproof" Coffee (Or Coffee With Butter) In The Morning For Ultimate Weightloss

Are you a coffee lover, but also want to lose some weight? Here is a new (yet weird) discovery that is making its way into coffee shops abroad. Often times we feel that with the large array of lattes, mochas, cappuccinos and macchiatos—together with milk, shots or syrup add-ons, our coffee craving is already satisfied. What we didn’t know is that this new kind of coffee could also help us burn some calories or in simple terms, lose a little weight.

For those who didn’t know, the “Bulletproof” Coffee is made with a double espresso blended to a thick froth that is joined with a tablespoon each of butter and coconut oil. Maybe the idea of putting butter in your coffee sounds strange, but according to a research abroad, fat is better for our bodies than sugar. This has become a diet fad in the States, and is now gaining ground in the UK.

U.S. Businessman and author of The Bulletproof Diet, Dave Asprey created the “Bulletproof” Coffee—which is the branded name of Butter Coffee to help us do three things such as to suppress hunger, make calories burn faster and boost your mental health. This will surely be of great help to those who are body conscious and hardworking.

Some fitness experts also recommend drinking butter coffee particularly in the morning to substitute with a full breakfast meal since it keeps the stomach full for four-six hours. It also sustains or keeps your energy high within the day which lessens the tendency of losing interest in your daily routine or activities. With this being said, many coffee drinkers find it helpful because they are able to go through the day having enough stored energy that is enough to complete a day’s work—and being able to feel a little lighter compared to stressful days when binge eating cannot be controlled; and with just a cup of ‘bulletproof’ coffee your day will surely get you through.

Here’s a two-step process in making “Bulletproof” or Butter Coffee:

  1. Brew or buy hot coffee.

  1. Using a blender (not a spoon), blend in two tablespoons unsalted, grass-fed butter, as well as 1 tsp-2 tbsp of Brain Octane or XCT Oil.

Simple and easy!

Do you find this new kind of coffee interesting enough to try?
