This particular stage of a woman’s life may be considered a blessing and at the same time a challenging part especially for first-time moms as giving birth. It is a battle between life and death. Pregnancy also has various signs in the early months.

The most prominent ones are the baby bump. An 18-year-old Reanna Stephens is expecting her son in April. Because of her slim body, strangers have accused her of faking her pregnancy. Her Healthy vegan diet and gentle exercise routine have helped maintain her figure, the student from South Carolina hit back at her critics and revealed.

Reanna Stephens now shares her story with other expecting mothers via social media. She said: “My baby is growing the perfect amount every month as it’s measured, just like everyone else’s, so it’s absolutely nothing to do with mine or the baby’s health. I have compared my bump over my pregnancy to people on different parent pages on Facebook, and it’s not as big as other people’s. But I love my small bump, it’s not big but I think it’s perfect in its own way and it’s my body and my bump, no one else’s”.

Stephens tells other moms that they should be sure to consume lots of fruits, veggies, whole grains, and healthy fats. The more they nourish their body, the healthier they and their baby will be. “You’ll have more energy and clarity — and that famous pregnancy glow will light up every room!” says Stephen.

Stephen - “Also your body is in the process of creating a new life. It is engaged in a dance with a sacred process that has endured since the dawn of creation. All of the changes, all of the scars, all of the new sensations — they are all but measures of your evolution into a mother (be it for the first time or the 10th time!). You are shedding the skin of the old while embracing a path that’s been embraced by an infinite line of mighty women before you. So love your body. Every step of the way. It’s a temple of courage and compassion. It’s a miracle in progress.”

Stephens was forced to speak up about her condition when strangers made cruel comments about her figure, according to Daily Mail. “I have had people stopping me in the street and giving me nasty looks.”

“It’s heart-breaking that instead of getting the “aw, look at your bump,” I just get people being rude to me as soon as they realize how far gone I am,” she explains. Despite the people tend to criticize her, Stephen still shared her story. She is thankful for her family who always there to support her. In pregnancy, every day makes for a new and mystifying adventure. As women’s bodies do the work of creating precious life, they may become uneasy or overwhelmed at times. So it’s up to us to take care of them, and do what makes us feel good.
