For anyone who's watched the TV show "It’s Showtime" as religiously as we have, the classic shocking of each other during breaks surely is the best prank ever. Let’s face it, It’s 2017 and your pranks need to catch up with the times. Prank culture is bigger than ever. It used to be that only men like Ashton Kutcher were given the platform to pull tricks on unsuspecting bystanders, but now anyone with a phone can make a name for themselves by doing something fun to someone else and posting the results online.

Normally when someone plays a joke on a person, they sit back and observe the effects.  After bearing witness to the effects, it brings some type of sordid satisfaction. The "act" seems funny to a prankster and as a result of their satisfaction, they continue to carry out such acts. What matters to a prankster is the "satisfaction" that it provides for them in seeing how someone else is affected.

Recently a video went viral online, wherein Vice Ganda was caught off guard by Jhong Hilario and was caught in a video. The “It’s Showtime family loves to make jokes to each other. They are always like that during television breaks. For them, it is just for fun. Until recently, Jhong Hilario did a prank to Anne Curtis and Vice Ganda, but instead of Vice being stuttered, he was so calm and made a joke.

Vice Ganda and Jhong Hilario are among the original hosts of the noontime show, "It's Showtime." For several years, the two, together with Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Billy Crawford and Karylle, have carried the show to its finest. Virgilio Viernes Hilario, Jr. is an Ilocano born in Pangasinan and better known by his stage name Jhong Hilario, are a Filipino actor, dancer, and politician. He is part of the dance group Streetboys in the Philippines. He is currently serving as a member of Makati City Council, elected last May 9, 2016, under the ticket of Mayor Abby Binay. 

As an actor, Hilario has acted in movies such as Muro Ami, released in 1999, in which he portrayed Butong; D' Another (2005), and Dekada '70 (2002). Jhong Hilario started his career in 1993 as a member of the dance group Streetboys. He made his debut as an actor in 1996.

In 2009, Hilario was part of the hosts of ABS-CBN's noontime show It's Showtime, started as a judge until became one of the hosts of the program for 4 years. On March 23, 2016, he decided to leave Its Showtime to pursue his political career. Hilario decided to run for councilor in the First District of Makati under the United Nationalist Alliance in the Makati local elections, 2016. In an interview, Hilario credited his father, Virgilio Sr., who served as a counselor for 9 years as his main inspiration to run for the council seat. In 2017, He is best known for the role of Ang Probinsyano as Homer Adlwan / Alakdan.

Vice started out as a singer, then as a stand-up comedian for Punchline and The Library, whose owner Andrew de Real gave him the stage name "Vice Ganda". There he spent several years developing his material in the comedy clubs. Vice’s career began to build after appearances on television and reviews from tabloid columns. He works alongside fellow comedians Chokoleit, Pooh, John Lapus and Rey Kilay.

He appeared in television series and sitcoms such as Dyosa, under the direction of Wenn V. Deramas. Vice also had another supporting role in the drama series Maging Sino Ka Man: Ang Pagbabalik. In 2009, he became part of Showtime, a talent search programme where he eventually gained his present role as a regular presenter/judge. His life story of being bullied as a young, closeted homosexual has also been featured in the drama anthology, Maalaala Mo Kaya. 

Aside from Showtime, he is currently hosting his own Sunday talk show, the consistently top-rated Gandang Gabi, Vice!. Currently, he is under the management of ABS-CBN, and handling him is business unit head Deo Endrinal after being managed for four years by local entertainment columnist/host Ogie Diaz. Then, in 2016, he became one of the judges in Pilipinas Got Talent starting from season 5.
