Woman Shares How She Was Able To Achieve Her Lovely Body Transformation The Natural Way.

One Canadian woman's before-and-after figure photos would make most people swear she'd had implants — but in fact, she did it all naturally. Abby Pollock from Toronto looks painfully thin in photos from five years ago — and she was painfully thin, suffering from an eating disorder and sticking to an unhealthily restrictive diet. Now, though, the 23-year-old looks slim and strong and has round, firm-looking backside that would be right at home in the Kardashian households.

Abby Pollock enjoys being fit and why wouldn’t she when she’s got this amazing body and a naturally-formed behind that’s to die for? The 23-year-old is proud of her fitness achievement but that doesn’t mean she didn’t go through challenges just to achieve the coveted body that she now has. Abby suffered from symptoms of anorexia and bulimia in 2012. She was 20 pounds underweight when she was in her first year of engineering school. She wasn’t happy with her relationship and also felt the pressure of having to be part of an engineering internship when she learned that her father had cancer. That means she used to consume only 900 to 1,000 calories daily.

'Eating 1,000 calories a day took constant willpower. I was physically drained from eating so little, I was mentally drained from obsessing over such a trivial part of my life,' she explained on Instagram. She just wanted to keep losing weight and she followed diets like raw, raw vegan and paleo.

“I told myself I was following these diets for ethical reasons when really I was using them as a means to further restrict and cover up my disordered habits.” In 2013, she suspected that her boyfriend cheated on her and then she learned that her father’s cancer has become terminal. That’s when she decided to reach out for help with her eating habits. She decided to work with a personal trainer and a holistic nutritionist.

Abby now has an eating plan in place: she can eat whatever she pleases as long as she meets the daily calorie requirement set by her nutritionist, which is 1,700 calories. Abby also practices intermittent fasting, an eating strategy that improves insulin sensitivity, which helps the body lose fat easily. Amazingly, Abby did it all the natural way, changing her diet and her fitness routine and not stepping near a plastic surgeon's office. At her most restrictive point, she'd eat two salads and a green smoothie a day — plus some more raw veggies if she felt like she was going to pass out from hunger.

Also in 2013, she got help, enlisting the assistance of a holistic nutritionist and personal trainer. She said: 'I decided I was done playing the victim, done breaking myself down.' Besides observing a meal plan, Abby also spends two hours a day doing cardio exercise. She also does weightlifting and when she started with the lifts, she noticed her body transform – and voila, the bubble butt came into place! At the same time, her waist got smaller, giving her the hourglass look.

She increased her diet to 1,700 calories a day, eating healthy food. Her workouts gradually change, too. Eventually, she was doing the heavy lifting, which sparked a huge transformation. The 5'7" fitness fan weights 152bs, most of which is clearly muscle. She admitted: 'I used to worry when I got above 125 lbs and really felt like I’d let myself go if I got over 135 lbs. But here I am, in my opinion, more athletic than ever and I weigh OVER 150 LBS!!!'

Her once straight, the boyish figure turned into an hourglass, and her butt grew and raised up. She says a variety of exercises helped get it that way. 'Doing just squats will not build a booty,' she explained, adding that she favors barbell hip thrusts, the abduction machine, and banded leg press variations. She doesn't work out every day, either. She does an hour of exercising four days a week, focusing on different areas of the body each time. She also shares her progress online, as well as tips for followers who want to make their butts look just like hers.

'Building a rounder rear requires much more than just doing squats,' she shared once. 'Turns out your glutes are made of three main muscle groups: gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, and gluteus minimus.  'To shape that round Georgia Peach you need to focus on engaging and building all these muscle groups,' she went on. 'I find a lot of people neglect or don't know how to properly engage their gluteus medius, which results in a bigger but not rounder behind.' Abby’s diet and exercise routine made her gain weight (she weighs 152 lbs.) but she doesn’t care because she feels more athletic and she knows she’s happier.
