Witty answers by a student in a no-erasures exam make netizens laugh

Witty answers by a student in a no-erasures exam make netizens laugh.

One of the most important professions in this world is being a teacher. No one will ever become a professional if there are no teachers. They pass on knowledge and wisdom to people who are continually seeking to learn and improve. They are essential to affecting the overall character of a person. Because of this calling to help in building a nation of educated people, they need to exhibit several traits and values.

One of the most important trait that a teacher should possess is being neat and orderly. It would be hard to teach if everything is a mess and things and ideas are scattered. This is why as teachers, neatness and orderliness should always be observed to help create an environment fit for learning. There are teachers who adhere to promoting this value and want to pass it on to the next generation. They ask their students to do tasks such as cleaning the classroom and even going as far as applying the no-erasures policy in exams so that students may appreciate a neat answer sheet.

Examinations and tests are gauges of how much a student has learned after a certain span of time in their studies. The world has developed several styles of these trials to make it more interesting while at the same time encouraging takers to think critically. Some of the popular exam types are identification, matching, true or false, essay, and multiple choice.

Teachers also come up with different rules to apply in exams and new methods of checking and grading the tests. Some of the most popular and probably the most feared by students are the no-erasures rule and the right-minus-wrong policy.  People would always say that it’s okay to make mistakes and that we can learn from the errors that we commit, but in an exam with these two rules observed, mistakes must be avoided at all costs. It is already too challenging if one of these rules is to be followed in an exam, so just imagine how terrifying it can be if both will be applied.

A post made by a teacher is resurfacing online. It was about one of his student who found a way to get through his no-erasures exam.

In the post, the teacher showed how witty the student was. The exam was a multiple choice type in which you only have to write down the corresponding letter to your answer. The teacher applied the no-erasures policy wherein committing erasures would already cost you the point. The student who seems to have had a tough time discerning the best answer wrote an initial letter but later on realized that those were not the correct ones. To solve this, he turned his letter answer into a phrase that starts with the letter that he already wrote to introduce his new answer.
