Paul Salas goes back home to his original TV network after a controversial conflict with Daniel Padilla

Paul Salas goes back home to his original TV network after a controversial conflict with Daniel Padilla.

Paul Salas is a rising Filipino young actor, TV personality, and model. He was born on April 16, 1998, and is now currently 19 years old. He is the eldest son of Michelle Solinap and the 1990s Universal Motion Dancer Jim Salas. He started his career by joining the groundbreaking kid talent search show of the GMA station, Starstruck Kids. He was part of the batch that yielded some notable young stars of today such as Miguel Tanfelix, Bea Binene, Sam Bumatay, Kurt Perez, and Ella Guevarra. He then transferred to the ABS-CBN network and appeared in several TV shows such as Kung Fu Kids, Dyosa, Tayong Dalawa, Aryana, You're My Home and The Good Son.

Just recently, teen actor Paul Salas left his current TV station network ABS-CBN to return back to GMA. The news gradually became a trending topic as people suspect that this is because of his conflict with Teen King Daniel Padilla.

Teen actor Paul Salas left ABS-CBN and returned to his original TV station, GMA, after his controversial feud with Daniel Padilla. The young actor's career froze after his heated exchange of arguments with Daniel Padilla on Twitter. The root of the conflict between the two young actors was when Paul made a comment about the incident between Daniel Padilla and JC De Vera in the Star Magic All-Star Game at the Araneta Coliseum last August 13, 2017. JC De Vera showed some physicality as he accidentally pushed Daniel Padilla while the latter was chasing after the ball. Some social media users who seem to be fans of Daniel Padilla magnified the comments of Paul Salas in a social networking platform where he said: “hahahaha curry na curry ba?" as if mocking Daniel who is trying to act like his idol NBA Superstar Stephen Curry.

Another social media user reposted the comment of the young actor on Twitter and added a caption saying: “Hello po. I dare Paul Salas and friends to tell these straight to Daniel’s face. Please RT. Let’s help them find their balls". The tweet reached Paul himself, some other celebrities, and even some of Daniel's teammates. One of those who reacted was Marco Gumabao who replied: “Hahahahaha ano to game naman ako 5 on 5.. ikaw ba bro @patsugui? Kayo @PaulAndreSalas?”
Daniel himself replied to the tweet: “Seryoso ba tong mga to tol?”
Eventually, he challenged Paul Salas directly by saying: “Ano? Sagot.”
Paul Salas entertained the challenge and replied: “G pa sched na kami ng court.”

As the controversy subsided, Daniel expressed his thoughts on the issue. He said in an interview with PEP.ph upon being asked about the challenge: “Ayoko lang…. ang sa akin lang, I don’t tolerate things na ganung bagay. Parang sa akin kasi, medyo nabastos lang ako,”

Paul doesn't have any reported projects lined up yet, but it seems that he has a promising career ahead of him with the GMA network where he started his showbiz career.
