They say if you choose a job you love, you’ll never have to work a day in your life. As children, almost everyone knows exactly what they want to be when they grow up, and some of these dreams are truly creative. Luckily, there are plenty of jobs nowadays that will let you live out these dreams without ever feeling like you’re at work.

But for this guy, he got a job that not only pays big but also has a simple and easy work.

Some of the world's best jobs include movie critic, actor or actress, video game tester, and other leisurely pursuits like car tester and holiday reporter. This man, identified as Lee, is a housekeeper. Not just a regular housekeeper that you see in every household, but instead a special housekeeper.

According to reports, the Taiwanese guy or Lee was once an employee who worked at a restaurant with a salary of TW$30,000 (approx. RM4,000) per month. That’s when he decided to take a leap of faith and become a full-time housekeeper. It turns out that it’s the best decision that he has made all his life.

“Many families in Taiwan have dual incomes. Since both the husband and wife need to head out to work, they have no time to take care of their home. This is where housekeepers like us come in to help sort things out,” Lee said. His main job is to clean the house, get rid of any pests.

Apart from the normal chores that a housekeeper is normally tasked to do, he’s also required to brush and clean a client’s tortoise.

The task requires skills and has to be done with great care since the tortoise could be pretty sensitive. First, he would gently brush the shell of the tortoise and repeat the same on its belly. For all of that, he gets paid TW$80,000 (approx. RM10,000). “Give me RM10,000 and I will not only brush the tortoise’s belly, I’d rub your dog’s belly and even your belly! ” an emotional person said.


We’ve all been in the situation of looking at someone else’s job and wishing ours was half as interesting. Lucky for this guy he got his dream job. But how do we really take care a turtle? When you keep turtles of both gender in the same habitat and they are of breeding age, they will likely begin to breed.

Pregnant females will need a suitable area to deposit her eggs into a nest. Both land species and aquatic species need a loose moist substrate for this. You can then decide to leave the eggs where they are or take them inside and hatch them in an incubator. Once they have hatched, you will need to learn how to feed these tiny size turtles or tortoises.
